CVA Services GmbH wins an advisory mandate in the area of MiFID II at Deutsche Börse and a mandate in the field of financial engineering to implement negative interest at Commerzbank.

CVA Services GmbH wins an advisory mandate in the area of MiFID II at Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) in Stuttgart.

 

August 2015

CVA Services GmbH extends its service capabilities to include Governance & Risk, Operational Risk Management and Solvency 2. CVA Services GmbH opens a representative office in Paris and provides additional consultants and specialist lawyers for these special areas.

The Bank for International Settlements published the “Review of the credit valuation adjustment (CVA) risk framework – consultative document”. The consultation paper specifies the “Base CVA”. CVA Services GmbH is awarded an advisory mandate at Aareal Bank AG.

The CVA Services GmbH relocates from Berlin to Frankfurt. Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen selects Quantifi as XVA solution for IFRS13 compliance, pre-trade analysis and in support of its XVA competence centre.

The CVA Services GmbH publishes its whitepaper on accounting under IFRS 13 and the use of credit valuation adjustments.

Oesterreichische Kontrollbank (OeKB) selects Quantifi as trading and risk management system. CVA Services GmbH supports the project planning, scoping and management phase.

 

October 2014

The Bank for International Settlements releases its assessment of incentives for central clearing of derivatives and support the theses of the CVA Services GmbH. The CVA Services GmbH wins a consulting contract with Allianz AG.

 

September 2014

The firm’s revenues significantly increase compared to 2013 and 2012 largely driven by the provision of consulting services to clients of the Calypso front-to-back trading system.

 

May 2014

Eurex Clearing AG is the first customer for the Excel-based prototype of the SA-CCR Tool CVA Services GmbH. An Impact Analysis for the deposit of regulatory capital at a clearing house under the SA-CCR replacing the Current Exposure Method is performed.

 

March 2014

The Bank for International Settlements finalises the regulatory definition of Exposure based on NIMM. This standard approach is now called SA-CCR (Standard Approach for Counterparty Credit Risk) and from January 2017 (delayed until 2018) on practically relevant for all financial institutions. CVA Services GmbH is one of the first providers to offer Impact Analysis of the SA-CCR to the market.

 

January 2014

Stefan Zur and Wolfgang Ruthardt join as Managing Directors of CVA Services GmbH. Mr. Zur is responsible for the field of Business Analysis and is driving business development and implementation activities of the Quantifi, a specialised provider of analytics, trading and risk management solutions for the OTC markets in the D-A-CH region and Eastern Europe.

Wolfgang Ruthardt is responsible for Integration Engineering, with a focus on implementations of leading trading or risk management software systems.

 

November 2013

CVA Services decides to focus on the provision of advisory services in the field of financial risk management and the translation and implementation of regulatory requirements into the IT environment of its customers.

 

June 2012

CVA Services is awarded an advisory mandate at Münchener Hypothekenbank eG.

 

May 2012

The company CVA Services GmbH was established by Thomas Schwiertz, providing a managed services solution for calculating the CVA capital charge under the standardized approach and consulting services in the field of financial risk management to banks.
